I've always been what you could call a solitary tree... I mean most kids don't spend their teen years in their room designing websites, right? Well I guess I was never like most kids. It all started when I was introduced to Photoshop 6 when I was 12 years old. Thinking back, I can remember how insanely complex it looked to me. But thanks to various free tutorial web sites, I slowly began to piece together the knowledge I have today.
Three years later, I launched my first web site as a means to display my artwork. That site was my finest learning tool. As I developed new ideas and discovered new techniques, I used that site to display them.
The realization that I could use my design ability to make a living didn't even come until I was 17. After designing a t-shirt for my high school swim team, the company that printed them offered me a part-time job. Since then I've worked for a handfull of respected design studios, but my true love lies in my freelance work.
